'…the human psyche, like human bones, is strongly inclined towards self-healing. The psychotherapist’s job, like that of the orthopaedic surgeon, is to provide the conditions in which self-healing can best take place.' JOHN BOWLBY

Please note that I am currently not taking on new enquiries.
I'm an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist working with adult individuals. I am passionate about the process of change facilitated by a collaborative, confidential and safe therapeutic relationship. We can work together to help you understand the impact of your attachment history and transform patterns of relating and ways of being that may no longer serve you, so freeing you to live with greater fulfilment and self-acceptance.
I can help with a range of issues and emotional difficulties, including:
- Relationship difficulties and intimacy challenges
- Anxiety, depression and emotional dysregulation
- Trauma and unresolved issues from childhood
- Persistent patterns of self-criticism or low self-worth
- Difficulties in forming or maintaining secure attachments
- Bereavement
- Stress and burn-out
- Addictions
- Self-harm
- Eating disorders
- Post-traumatic stress and dissociation
- Feeling stuck
- Facing a difficult life change
I’ve also developed specific experience of working with the impact of unexpected genetic information, such as through DNA testing.
I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
I work in person at two London venues: one in central London, near Old Street and the other in east London, near Stratford. I also work online with clients based anywhere.
Reaching out to a therapist can feel difficult, but if you’d like to explore having therapy with me, please do get in touch. As a first step, I offer a free 15-minute online consultation to discuss what's brought you to therapy, give you a sense of me and my approach and allow you to ask questions.
